Whether you’re exploring Orthodoxy for the first time or deepening a lifelong faith, these resources are here to help you on your journey.
If you are exploring Orthodoxy, you are welcome here. You do not need to understand everything before you visit a church. Come as you are. When you attend a Divine Liturgy, stand where you are comfortable, observe, and pray quietly in your own words. You are not expected to receive Communion or to know when to cross yourself, bow, or respond. Simply be attentive and let the service unfold. After the service, introduce yourself to the priest and let him know you are exploring. Ask your questions openly. Begin reading one solid introductory book and establish a short, simple daily prayer rule, even if it is just morning and evening prayers. Growth in Orthodoxy comes through steady participation and lived experience. Move forward deliberately, with patience and sincerity.
